Sherbanoo Aziz played with oil colors as a teenager in India as there were no other activities during school vacation. Later, she painted on neckties that was a rage in the Fifties and sold to contribute to the family budget. She began watercolor painting in Moorhead in 2007. Since then Sherbanoo has had private individual lessons from Donna Chalimonczyk, Sandra Miles and Jackie Anderson. She has participated in workshops offered by renowned artists: Sandy Muzzy, Carolyn Lord, Rose Edin and Judy Betts.

Sherbanoo has held several solo shows in the Fargo-Moorhead area. She has also participated and sold paintings at the Hawley, MN art show and other art shows in the Fargo-Moorhead galleries. She is a member of the Plains Art Museum, the Red River Watercolor Society, and the Cormorant Area Art Club. Sherbanoo has volunteered teaching collage painting to the residents of River View, Waterford and Edgewood Village in Fargo. She entered the juried show in 2008.
